Anonymous source has confirmed that 104 women, 23 men and 14 under age from Adi Sihel (May Temenay) area were incarcerated on Friday, May 10, 2019. According to the report, at first the women were taken to the 4th police station, then they were all transferred to another location known as Adi Abeto. To the best of our knowledge they all still remain in custody. No criminal activities nor any other illicit cause is connected to their arrest.

Our hearts go out to all of them especially to the women and the children who have little or no strength to endure the unbearable and dreadful prison life.

As the occasion has repeatedly afforded itself:

  1. We would like to earnestly and seriously urge every concerned believer to present his/her petition before our compassionate God, so that relief and deliverance may arise for the prisoners directly from Heaven and that with extraordinary celerity.
  2. We humbly and solemnly call on the government of Eritrea to begin to fear God and release all the prisoners and return the children to the guardianship and custody of their parents. Our exigent call is loud and clear and with all due respect to the authorities, in accordance to the foundational teachings of the Holy Scriptures (1Peter 2:17).

Prayerfully,

Nehemiah International Ministry

“He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” (Proverbs 17:15 | NKJV).

To the Lord Jesus Christ alone be the eternal Glory! Amen.
